The Tradition

Ifá & the Òrìṣà

Ifá is the system of wisdom and divination of the Yoruba people of West Africa, associated with Ọ̀rúnmìlà, the witness to destiny. Through Ifá, practitioners seek understanding of their path and the balance needed to live it well.

The tradition honors Olódùmarè, the Òrìṣà, and the ancestors (egúngún), and has been carried across the world by generations of devotees.
